Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Bald AI iOS app operated by PCTR INFORMACIJSKE STORITVE d.o.o., Lokev 173, 6219 Lokev, Slovenia (registration no. 9966935000, VAT SI78302765). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Not medical advice

Bald AI is an educational and wellness tool. It estimates visible hair-pattern appearance from photos and questionnaire context. It does not diagnose androgenetic alopecia or any other condition, does not prescribe treatment, and does not replace a dermatologist or other qualified clinician. Do not start, stop, or change medication based on the app.

Eligibility

You must be 13 or older. The in-app age check is required. Bald AI is not directed at children under 13.

Your content

You retain rights to photos you capture. You grant PCTR a limited license to process those photos solely to provide analysis, coaching, and account features you request. Do not upload photos of other people without permission.

Subscriptions

Bald AI Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices may vary by storefront. Apple is the merchant of record for in-app purchases.

Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to reverse the scoring for clinical claims, or use results to advertise medical outcomes.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is.” Scores, Norwood-range labels, risk tiers, progress charts, and generated images are estimates and illustrations, not guaranteed predictions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable consumer law, PCTR is not liable for decisions you make about hair or health based on the app. Mandatory rights of consumers in the EU/EEA and Slovenia are not affected.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. For disputes where a court venue can be agreed, the courts in Koper, Slovenia, have jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
